We move in the net like fish in water. The offer is huge. Tempting apps - is there a catch? At the end of the long development towards an upright gait is the human being as a cell phone user. Hunched over our smartphones, which have become our shop window to the world. And we are active ourselves. You can attract attention with clever information or a cat video. Or reap a shitstorm. Is it in our hands? Or does it have us in its grip?

The tagesschauer is Arnulf Rating's constantly topical reaction to the daily showers in these times of general de-education. Together with his splendid characters Sister Hedwig and Dr. Mabuse, he decides between humans, viruses and mutations. He knows that the torch of enlightenment can also be a smoke screen. In this world, you can only survive with a sense of humor. Because, as we all know, that's the knob we can turn before our collars burst.

One of the country's longest-serving sharp tongues shines here with speed and high entertainment value. The last of the legendary 3 Tornados to take to the stage. His standard is the same as it was back then with the Tornados. Entertainment with attitude. The claim remains: to leave the theater with an expanded consciousness at the top and wet pants at the bottom.

Arnulf Rating
Born in Mülheim in 1951, has lived in Berlin since 1972; has written cabaret history since 1977 with the "3 Tornados", after reunification from 1990 with the "Reichspolterabend" and in the new millennium with the annual "Politischer Aschermittwoch Berlin". In addition to numerous cabaret programs, he is also active as an organizer (International Word Art Festival "Maulhelden") of revue programs such as "Der Blaue Montag". He is also active online with "tagesschauer." His passion, however, is the lively action on stage. When he fires up the projection, opens the suitcase full of newspapers and fires his salvos into the audience with crazy cascades of words, it is clear: the oldest rating agency in Germany strikes again mercilessly. Arnulf Rating is married and has three grown-up children.
