...and in 2026 it will once again be celebrated in all its glory in the Spiegelzelt at PHOENIX West. After the successful start at the new location, it has become clear that The Ruhr region immediately took this location to its heart. The imposing backdrop with its blast furnace combines history, change and culture in a unique way - and makes RuhrHOCHdeutsch a festival that is typical of the Ruhr region in the best sense of the word.

The figures prove that this is the right approach: Almost 31,000 visitors over 115 program days and an occupancy rate of almost 90% made RuhrHOCHdeutsch 2025 one of the most successful festivals of its kind. A strong signal from the audience that inspires and motivates.

A breath of fresh air will also be blowing through the Spiegelzelt in 2026: in addition to audience favorites such as Jochen Malmsheimer and Carmela de Feo, prominent comedians such as Johann König and Bastian Bielendorfer will once again be on the program. We have also invited some of the scene's most exciting shooting stars to provide new sounds and surprises.
The Ruhrpott evenings and our successful new series "Kaffeeklatsch & Comedy" are a highlight, with 3-4 of the funniest ladies in Germany taking to the stage on selected Sundays.

Musically, we celebrate special premieres: Purple Schulz, icon of the 80s, is a guest on his anniversary tour, and with the Zucchini Sistaz we are exclusively presenting the premiere of their brand new program.

There are also new culinary delights: from 2026, the catering will be entirely in the hands of Cabaret Queue, which will spoil you with a wide variety of specialties - from freshly baked tarte flambée to delicious currywurst. This makes every evening in the Spiegelzelt an all-round experience.

Behind us lie intensive preparations, driven by passion and supported by strong partners. The result is a program that combines cabaret, comedy and music in all their facets - in the middle of the district, in the middle of change, in the middle of life.

The patron: This year, the new Lord Mayor of the City of Dortmund, Alexander Omar Kalouti, has taken over the patronage of the RuhrHOCHdeutsch festival. According to the Lord Mayor, he is delighted that it has been possible to put together a top-class program for the Spiegelzelt. All Dortmund residents and guests from near and far are cordially invited to experience this event highlight in Dortmund.
