TOXOPLASMA - It is no exaggeration to say that Toxoplasma is still one of the most influential German punk bands from the 80s. With their unique, raw sound and uncompromising lyrics, they have had a lasting influence on the German-speaking scene. "Sounding like" is difficult with them because they are the band that is often used for comparison. With their last release "Köter", Toxoplasma not only amazed the critics, but are also currently showing no signs of tiring live.

MANUFRAKTUR - 0815 punk for the rage in your stomach and special effects for the fun. The four-piece from Cologne and the surrounding area likes to draw stylistically on everything the three-chord punk universe has to offer. A lack of expertise is compensated for by charm and soap bubbles. Quasi "Schlachtrufe BRD" in modern and contemporary style. "scheisse verbuddeln" is the first D.I.Y album since 2022.

SKINNY MIRROR - Concave, inwardly curved mirrors are used in department stores to make customers appear slimmer and thus encourage them to buy. The Cologne-based band Skinny Mirror, on the other hand, does not use any tricks. The five members have experience from various DIY punk bands - including Alteri, Bronko, rAuh, Ritual Collapse, Les Aligned and other projects - and are now combining this in a joint approach that works without artificial effects. Skinny Mirror released their first demo tape in the summer of 2025. The cassette was released in an edition of 150 copies by Aachen-based label Chopped Off Records. The tape comprises four songs that give an initial insight into the band's musical direction: catchy melodies, precise punk riffs and English-language lyrics that alternate between personal, fictional and political perspectives. Whether Skinny Mirror really want to hold up a mirror to the world is an open question. The only thing that is certain is that the band chooses an undisguised approach to punk - with a crystal-clear attitude.
