Lyrikweg: Durch die Natur mit Literatur

Accompanied walk along the poetry trail

Discover the landscape together! We hike and explore nature. We encounter bird species and fossils, a river and trees that are centuries old. Poems and stories accompany us. They come from Annette Droste-Hülshoff and from people who are writing today. We listen and observe. We get to know the landscape then and now.

The Poetry Trail connects two Droste sites: Hülshoff Castle and the Rüschhaus. The tours on foot explore part of the trail. Together with our guide, you will explore the first 5 stations of the Lyrikweg. The tour is about 4 kilometers long. Afterwards, we invite you to enjoy a free drink (coffee or cold drink) at Café-Restaurant DROSTE 1797.

Notes and additional offers:

In the event of a severe weather warning, or if there are fewer than 5 regular participants, we will cancel the tour on the Friday before.

Poetry trail + picnic: Grab a picnic basket prepared by us and rest on the meadow after the tour! Available at Hülshoff Castle and at the Rüschhaus.

Lyrikweg + Tea Time: Book the tea house before or after the tour. We will provide you with sparkling wine, English tea, scones and cucumber sandwiches. Ideal for groups of 8-16 people!
