Aus der Tiefe: Lieder vom Vertrauen! Ein Liederworkshop

In the organizer's words:

🎶The Protestant hymnal, invented 500 years ago by Martin Luther, still shapes the life of congregations today. It is a success story. From 8 hymns, it has now grown to almost 700. Why? It's about participation and solidarity, we sing together at eye level.

The songs are a reflection of their time and the respective spiritual experience. Some themes run through the centuries. For example, the longing that the burning reality of war and countless other difficulties need not remain as it is. The music and lyrics tell of trust, connection with the divine and fellow singers.

Which stories do individual songs tell, which lyrics, which music or rhythms speak to us today and convey our longing? The evening takes place as part of the exhibition: "The Apocalyptic Riders: Mirror of Time" by Thomas Baumgärtel.
