Ausstellung "Acts of Queerness. Performance, Räume, Erinnerungen."

Dear interested parties,

On May 6, 2026 at 6 pm in the foyer of the University and City Library of Cologne, the opening of the exhibition "Acts of Queerness. Performance, Spaces, Memories", to which we would like to cordially invite you.

We are a group of 18 students of Media Cultural Studies who, as part of a seminar together with Dr. Nora Probst and Theresa Gielnik, are organizing an exhibition on the topic "Acts of Queerness. Performance, Spaces, Memories". The aim of the exhibition is to make queer performance phenomena visible on the basis of exhibits from various Cologne archives. With the exhibition, we want to sensitize the widest possible audience to queer lifestyles, arouse interest in the diversity and beauty of queer performance traditions and promote solidarity with queer people. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge, even without a library card.
