Ausstellung: Urban Trails & Woodland Tales – Roman Klonek

In the organizer's words:

For six weeks, we are transforming our champagne store into a gallery!

With Roman Klonek, we are showing an internationally renowned artist who brings the traditional woodcut into the present day. His works are created using the elaborate "lost cut" technique: each color is recreated on the same plate until the original is destroyed. This makes each print truly unique.

In terms of content, Klonek's works move between urban trails and fairytale stories: strange hybrid creatures, enigmatic characters and full, colorful surfaces with influences from comic aesthetics and pop culture.

These are visual worlds that seem both familiar and strange at the same time.
Large-format and small-format works will be on display.
