Bach-Bekloppt!
Maul & Schrammek produce their 300th Bach podcast live
Five years ago, Bachfest director Michael Maul and music journalist Bernhard Schrammek launched the podcast series "The Bach Cantata with Maul & Schrammek" on MDR. The two have long since raved their way through their hero's 200 sacred cantatas. In the meantime, they continue to find good reasons to verbally fall to their knees in front of their hero's art week after week on the "Bach Channel".
Now the widely popular podcast series is approaching its 300th show. And in it, the two officially certified Bach nerds want to look back together with their listeners: on the most touching but also funniest Bach moments during their five-year journey through the sea of Bach cantatas. And best of all: the audience can vote for themselves as to which pieces really are the Bach arias for the desert island - and then listen in rapt attention as they are performed live by top-class guests: St. Thomas organist Johannes Lang, Nadja Zwiener, Susanne Langner and Tobias Berndt as well as Miriam Feuersinger (requested) - and Maul & Schrammek themselves will also take up the instrument!
But beware: Maul & Schrammek are damn bad at hiding their enthusiasm for the musical wonders of their master. High risk of infection!
Admission: 10,- / 7,- EUR
