Ballroom • Post uit Hessdalen

In the organizer's words:

Ballroom puts our imagination to the test when the eyes see what the mind cannot comprehend. The stage is inside a converted truck, the floor is littered with countless small white balls. A man in a tracksuit appears and collects the balls one by one with a vacuum cleaner. Bored with the monotonous work, he starts playing with the balls and bouncing them around the room in all sorts of ways. But suddenly the impressive ball game gets out of control and the balls develop a magical life of their own, in which the rules of gravity are suspended: They fly from bottom to top, stop in mid-flight or suddenly change their direction of flight. And as if by magic, they always return to the juggler in the end.

With Ballroom, the artistic duo Post uit Hessdalen create a spectacular show that defies the laws of time and space and creates a surrealistic universe with their interplay of technology and magic, light and darkness, speed and slowness. Here, nothing is as it seems and everything is possible. A masterpiece for all fans of poetic circus and magical juggling.
