Barocker Glanz und strahlende Gegenwart

The concert begins with an introduction in the Aposteln auditorium. In the Basilica of St. Aposteln, the candlelit concert will then range from baroque splendor to modern music. Selected compositions - from Bach, Liszt, Sibelius and Debussy to works by contemporary composers - span an arc through epochs and soundscapes. Sounds and luminous harmonies reflect the interplay of inside and outside, of the visible and the spiritual. Music and short presentations lead from outer appearances to inner experiences full of inspiration.

Nepomuk Golding is a classical accordionist and is dedicated to combining early music with contemporary works. He performs regularly as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician.
Thomas Taliesin Weber works in Cologne as a pianist, composer, song accompanist and musicologist. His stylistic spectrum ranges from the classical-romantic concert repertoire to musical crossover. Since 2004, Weber has specialized in the form of the discussion concert with his entertaining and informative moderations.
