The Canadian bbno$ is celebrated worldwide not only for his music, which spans several spheres between indie rap, trap and hip-hop, but also for his funny short-form content on social media. No wonder that songs like "Lalala" or "edamame" have become the artist's biggest hits thanks to viral TikTok successes and together generate over 1.6 million streams on Spotify. Together, the songs have already received 5 platinum awards in his native Canada, while "Lalala " has been awarded diamond status in France alongside twelve other international platinum awards. In 2020 bbno$ was nominated for two Juno Awards, this year he won the Juno Fan Choice Award. In his career, he has also collaborated with artists such as Diplo, Tommy Cash, Connor Price, Rebecca Black, Little Big, Rich Brian and many more. Most recently, he delighted his German audience in May 2025 with his relaxed and versatile sound, a lot of charisma and the omnipresent wink in his art. On his The Internet Explorer Tour 2026, bbno$ returns to Cologne's Palladium and Berlin's Columbiahalle in May 2026 for his biggest headline shows in Germany to date.

Alexander Leon Gumuchian learned to play the piano and djembé as a child, quickly developing a great understanding of rhythm. After a sports injury, he focused on rap music and his own productions, which he tested out with GarageBand and published on SoundCloud under the artist name bbnomula. Since 2016, he has released several singles under the stage name bbno$ (pronounced: baby no money), of which "Boomin" (2017) became his first major success and laid the foundation for his musical career. This was followed by four EPs and eight albums, of which "recess" with the song "nursery" and "i don't care at all" with the song "shining on my ex" marked bbno$ 's breakthrough in 2019. In addition, the three "Baby Gravy" releases - which were created as collab works with Yung Gravy in 2017, 2020 and 2023 - with the smash hit "Lalala" alongside "edamame" from the 2021 album "eat ya veggies" are among the artist's greatest successes. His current single "1-800" feat. Ironmouse, bbno$ follows on from a series of singles that have long since led us to expect a new album. Once again, he presents his sound between modern hip-hop, indie pop and EDM, which does not shy away from influences from disco pop and funk.
