BEAST IN BLACK, SONATA ARCTICA und FROZEN CROWN

Beast In Black is an international heavy metal band from Helsinki whose sound combines powerful riffs with melodic hooks, dance-metal energy and the drama of 1980s pop and electronic music. Lyrically, they draw on dark fantasy and science fiction themes, with a particular passion for the manga Berserk. The band, known for their explosive live shows, have released three acclaimed albums, a number of singles and videos and even collaborated on a video game. Their breakthrough video "Blind And Frozen" has achieved more than 50 million views on YouTube.

Beast In Black was founded in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen. The original line-up consisted of Kabanen, singer Yannis Papadopoulos, guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen, bassist Máté Molnár and drummer Sami Hänninen, who was replaced by Atte Palokangas in 2017. Their debut album "Berserker" (2017) stormed the Finnish charts, going platinum, and their follow-up "From Hell With Love" (2019) also reached platinum status, cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting new forces in metal. During this time, they supported major acts such as Nightwish in arenas and embarked on their first headlining tour.

In 2021, the band released their third album, "Dark Connection", which debuted at number one in Finland and quickly reached gold status. By this time, Beast In Black had already become one of Finland's most successful metal exports. They headlined tours across Europe, North and South America and Japan and performed on the main stages of major European festivals including Wacken Open Air, Hellfest and Graspop.

Beast In Black show no signs of slowing down. In June 2024, they released the standalone single "Power Of The Beast", which Kabanen describes as the band's first "Super Eurobeast" anthem. Later that year, they were confirmed as special guests for Helloween's 40th anniversary European tour in the fall of 2025. In April 2025, the band announced a high-profile collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment's Diablo IV and Berserk, tied to the eighth season of the game "Belial's Return", and released the single "Enter The Behelit" as the soundtrack to it.

Beast in Black are going on tour again. In 2026, the band will embark on a major European and UK tour to promote their highly anticipated fourth studio album, which is due for release in May. They will be joined by Sonata Arctica and Frozen Crown.
