Beethoven: Sonaten und Romanzen

Experience Beethoven in all his glory - from the delicate sound poetry of the "Romance No. 2" to the dramatic intensity of two legendary violin sonatas. Two outstanding artists will meet in the Mozart Hall of the Liederhalle Stuttgart on May 3, 2026 for a concert evening that will appeal to both the heart and the mind.

Mark Taratushkin (piano), Berlin-based pianist and winner of an international piano competition with a multi-award-winning career, and Yury Revich (violin), the Austrian ECHO Klassik prizewinner ("Newcomer of the Year"), who plays a precious Guarneri del Gesù. Together they will present a program that will delight Beethoven fans and newcomers alike.

The program includes Beethoven's "Romance No. 2" (for violin and piano) as well as two milestones of chamber music: the famous "Spring Sonata" and the monumental "Kreutzer Sonata". You can look forward to lyrical tranquillity, radiant virtuosity and the immediate excitement that has made these works audience favorites for generations.
