Trumpeter, singer and entertainer Benny Benack III is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz. In 2024, he was honored by the renowned Down Beat Magazine as a Rising Star in the category "Male Vocalist". As a New York artist, he combines modern jazz with the elegant charm of classic crooners, delighting audiences and critics alike.

Regularly performing alongside greats such as Christian McBride, Emmet Cohen and Veronica Swift, Benack presents his own compositions as well as finely crafted reinterpretations of well-known jazz standards. He will be accompanied by a top-class rhythm section with André Weiss, Joel Locher and Xaver Hellmeier - three musicians who are well known at BIX and who have been in the premier league of the scene for years and are represented both nationally and internationally.
