Bergson Metal Fest w/ Elwood Stray, Our Mirage, Devil May Care, Drøver

On July 18, 2026, it's time to headbang again as long as your neck muscles can take it! The Bergson Metal Fest is entering its second round and will get the former Kesselhalle buzzing from the early afternoon hours into the evening - with handmade live music, cold beer and tasty snacks.

On stage at our impressive location, which couldn't be more fitting with its raw industrial style, are four bands that are causing quite a stir in the metal scene: Devil May Care, who create an immersive live experience with uncompromising metalcore, clarity and force; DRØVER with brute hardcore including merciless breakdowns; Elwood Stray with energetic riffs, great melodies and international live experience; and Our Mirage, whose melodic post-hardcore with emotional lyrics provides goosebump moments.

Elwood Stray

Elwood Stray is an energetic metal band from Essen that was founded in 2016. Known for their energetic riffs and infectious melodies, Elwood Stray offer an electrifying live experience. They have already shared the stage with numerous international artists such as Bad Omens, The Plot In You, The Ghost Inside, LANDMVRKS and The Word Alive. The band has also performed at renowned festivals such as Summerbreeze, Full Force and Takedown (UK). With the release of their album "DESCENDING" in January 2026 and their first sold-out headlining tour through Europe, they have now reached a new milestone.

Our Mirage

Our Mirage is a German post-hardcore band from Marl in North Rhine-Westphalia. With their new studio album "Fractured Minds", they are opening a new and heavier chapter in their career, as the band members have undergone major changes in recent years. Life has left its mark. "Fractured Minds" reflects these scars and lessons and shows a band that has found strength in vulnerability and unity through imperfection. At Bergson, they present you with their most emotional and honest work to date. Fast riffs, massive breakdowns and melancholic choruses combine to create a sound that goes straight to the heart - raw, intense and deeply human.

Devil May Care

The band from Würzburg combines metalcore with a clarity and power that is rare in the genre. Their songs condense into an immersive experience that captivates you with a cool atmosphere and urgent intensity. Every concert becomes a moment in which music and staging intertwine - immediate, demanding and unforgettable. Those who experience Devil May Care live will feel the seriousness of their message and the power of their music in every moment.

DRØVER

DRØVER is a five-piece metal/hardcore band from Munich. The guys bring a brute sound to the stage that pushes the boundaries of the genre - no matter what. With influences from bands like Knocked Loose, Get the Shot and
Nasty, they deliver fat riffs, merciless breakdowns and screams that hit you right in the face. The band not only scores with its musical toughness, but also with lyrics that address personal struggles and the fight against society. In October 2024, they released their self-titled debut EP - with a feature from Vik, frontman of Our Promise, on the single Broken Vow.
