Eclectic folk rock from Canada

With this debut album, Cayenne tackles fundamental themes that are close to her heart: Feminism, millennial values, coming out and solidarity. She develops her artistic reflection around the role that the Côte-Nord has played in her deep identity. With sensitivity and a rather biting sense of humor, she speaks in an unfiltered monologue about this love-hate relationship that characterizes many who have left the region where they grew up.

With her light-hearted folk-rock, she takes the audience to places where jazz, Latin American music and hip-hop sometimes suddenly appear. Cayenne combines musical road trip and personal narrative to gather the audience around a well-crafted narrative stage show. At once energetic and touching, she shapes her stage presence through this back and forth between festivity and introspection.
