BESONDERE UMSTÆNDE

BESONDERE UMSTÆNDE invite you on a musical expedition to Frankfurt's Ponyhof club. The formation, whose name is a reference to the intergalactic secret service from the "Culture Cycle" by science fiction author Iain Banks, brings its characteristic independent sound to the Main metropolis.

The trio moves with stylistic confidence in a field of tension that combines influences from post-punk, stoner rock and the Hamburg School. With German lyrics that sketch metaphorical landscapes ranging from Arctic expeditions to ivory towers, BESONDERE UMSTÆNDE focus on a deliberate reduction to the essentials. The classic three-piece constellation creates a direct, unembellished tapestry of sound that offers both depth and sonic toughness.

The evening will be supported by a support act that will be announced shortly (TBD). Fans of atmospheric indie and eloquent post-punk can look forward to an evening that - in keeping with the band's name - is not always comprehensible but remains consistently intense.
