Two women, one evening - and lots of questions about faith, power, morals and courage:

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, Kim Hoss and Edith Löhle invite you to Bad Ass Night at the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen. A performance between reading, music and conversation, in which the two revisit the Bible from a female perspective. What happens when you listen to the old stories - this time without the men in the foreground?

Edith Löhle, author and journalist, reads from her debut Bible Bad Ass - a book that uncovers the suppressed and distorted stories of biblical women and takes on the patriarchal narratives of church history.
Kim Hoss, artist, musician and activist, will accompany the evening with songs, sounds and her own memories: Having grown up in a free church, she processes the tension between faith, doubt and self-empowerment in her art.

Together, the two talk about slut shaming in the Bible, sisterhood and spiritual rebellion - honestly, loudly, sometimes tenderly. It is not an evening of edification, but one of awakening.

Will it be holy? No.

Will it be wild, real and perhaps a little healing? Absolutely.

An evening for anyone with a taste for pop, feminism and new perspectives on old texts.
