From the MAD PRIDE, it's straight on to the BIG BÄÄM:
From 3:30 pm, the Carlsgarten in front of Schauspiel Köln will become a stage for a colorful program of music and clever words. Among other things, we will hear a contribution from Raúl Krauthausen on the subject of solidarity and disability.
New year, new location: the BIG BÄÄM will take place in front of Schauspiel Köln for the first time this year.
The program:
Mama Afrika consists of dancers*, musicians* and acrobats* from the West African countries of Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Togo and plays percussion-oriented music on traditional African instruments.
Tobias Leifeld is the founder of the Hidden Stage Sessions, a concert series for neurodivergent audiences and artists - he plays together with ELENN
The ESG Choir Cologne is under the direction of Lucas Förster, who has been working with the choir on a wide variety of works from pop music and neoclassical music since 2022.
VAVUNETTHA'svoice and hip-hop flow go straight to the heart: she manages to portray the diversity of our society in an extraordinary way with her lyrics and melodies.

The Mad Pride route is approx. 1.6 km long and barrier-free. There will be a break along the way at an accessible place with wheelchair-accessible toilets.
If required, rickshaws will be available for the duration of the demonstration. It is best to register for this with Julia (julia.maedrich@sommerblut.de).

The Big Bääm and the speeches during Mad Pride will be interpreted into German Sign Language (DGS) and Easy Language .
