When the BigBand im Quadrat invites you to a concert, one thing is guaranteed: A sound that gets under your skin and legs that don't want to stand still. Under the fitting title "Fun Times", the ensemble under the direction of Patrick Wewel presents a program that combines the joy of a classic big band line-up with modern pop and soul brilliance.

In particular, the audience can look forward to a reunion with an exceptional talent: Rüdiger Skoczowsky, known for his dizzying heights and his incredible soul voice, returns as a star guest. Last year's collaboration at the Capitol Mannheim already caused standing ovations and goosebumps.

The BigBand im Quadrat is relying on proven power to round off the evening with the charismatic Jacky Vox and the powerful-voiced entertainer Vince the Prince. This duo already proved at the last show that they can transform the stage into musical fireworks.
Bandleader Patrick Wewel has reached deep into the box of arrangements for the new program. "Fun Times" is more than just a name - it is a promise to the audience to leave everyday life behind for a few hours. From crisp brass sections and driving rhythms to soulful ballads, the BigBand im Quadrat covers the entire spectrum of the genre.

"The energy between Rüdiger, Jacky, Vince and the band is simply magical," says Patrick Wewel. "After the success at the Capitol, we knew we had to continue this journey. The title 'Fun Times' describes exactly the feeling we bring to the stage."
