"Ten Times Around The Sun" Tour 2025
Support: BLÜTEN
Special Guests: WATCH ME RISE
With CHIEFLAND and WATCH ME RISE, there is emo and post-hardcore in a double pack.
They will be supported by the Leipzig band BLÜTEN (indie rock, post-punk, alternative)
Towards the end of the year, CHIEFLAND will be playing five selected headline shows to celebrate their 10th anniversary. They will be joined by the post-hardcore powerhouses WATCH ME RISE. "A lot has happened in our ten years of band history. Being more active as a band today than ever before, even though we all live in different cities - that alone is a reason to celebrate. And that's exactly what we want to do together with you on this tour," says founding member and guitarist Achim Particke.
CHIEFLAND and WATCH ME RISE are established names in the German emo/post hardcore scene and have made a name for themselves this year in particular:
CHIEFLAND supported the emo-punks SHORELINE in the spring. In many cities, the tour was sold out well in advance. They released their new single "Lie to me" on May 9th and were guests at the United Islands in Prague, among others. Over 100 bands played at the festival in the Czech capital. CHIEFLAND's latest EP Sentiment Valley, which they produced together with Alan Day from FOUR YEAR STRONG, was not released until the end of 2024.
WATCH ME RISE also have their latest release in the bag. At their album release show, they played in front of 300 people at the sold-out Schlachthof Wiesbaden. In March, they supported SPERLING on tour. This summer, they are also supporting the US band DEFEATER at two selected shows in Germany - one of the most relevant bands in the scene.
BLÜTEN come from Leipzig, their roots lie in the East German province. Musically, the trio moves between post-punk, indie rock and alternative - with a sound that is reminiscent of bands like Drangsal or Betterov, but never sounds like a mere reference. In their German-language songs, BLÜTEN tell stories of people who are looking for their place between youth and adulthood, awakening and disillusionment, nostalgia and the present. The band consists of twin brothers Jonas and Marius Dahmen and Jan Dehmelt. Their approach is reduced, direct: guitar, bass, drums. After "Autobahn" (September 2024) and "Fenster" (March 2025), their third single "Egoist" was released on July 25, 2025. After the first concerts in 2025 and with experience from numerous festivals, concerts and podium places at the "Local Heroes" young talent award in previous projects, BLÜTEN are looking ahead: 2026 is set to be their year on club and festival stages - with new musical releases in their luggage.
