We all carry a common history within us. The water in our bodies has stored the stories of this world within it. But in the language we have inherited, there are only two ways of being a body. What if we can move neither in our mother tongue nor in our father tongue? What other possibilities can we discover together? Can we invent a new language? One that we don't know yet?
In this production, four actors invite us into a garden as they dream it. They embark on a search for their own imprints, queerness and family. They invent stories, songs and redesign their surroundings: a place where everything could be different, where we can actually meet, listen honestly and rewrite stories.
Kim de l'Horizon's multi-award-winning debut novel "Blood Book" is the source of inspiration, collection of texts and center for this play.
