With "Blood Wedding", Wolfgang Fortner created a masterpiece of modern music theater in 1957, based on the drama of the same name by Federico García Lorca. The opera combines the archaic harshness of blood revenge with a multi-layered musical language that alternates between spoken word and intense singing. Pupils and students receive tickets in advance with a 50% discount.
