BOBfest 2026 goes one better: Beyond The Black and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons complete the line-up

RADIO BOB!'s in-house festival is expanding its top-class artist line-up with Beyond The Black and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons! - Together with Judas Priest, Airbourne, Nestor and The Gems, epic symphonic metal moments will be combined with legendary rock'n'roll spirit and energetic guitar planks on one stage.

With Beyond The Black and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, BOBfest 2026 is gaining two bands that decisively expand the already top-class line-up with Judas Priest, Airbourne, Nestor and The Gems - stylistically, across generations and with maximum live energy.
Beyond The Black have been one of the most successful symphonic metal acts from Germany for years. Frontwoman Jennifer Haben inspires with her impressive vocal power, while the band conquers international stages with orchestral elements, driving guitar riffs and big choruses. Their songs combine heaviness and emotion, modern production and classic metal elements - a mixture that sits perfectly between the metal icons of Judas Priest and the powerful rock attitude of the other acts. Beyond The Black will add an epic, atmospheric dimension to BOBfest that will give you goosebumps and sing-along moments.

With Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, another piece of real rock history is also joining the program. Phil Campbell, guitarist with Motörhead for decades, and his band bring uncompromising hard rock to the stage - characterized by no-frills riffs, honest pressure and the unmistakable DNA of legendary rock'n'roll, especially as they have promised to play an entire set of Motörhead songs. Together with Airbourne and Judas Priest, this will create a powerful foundation of classic heavy metal and dirty rock'n'roll that will make BOBfest 2026 a real showstopper.

The line-up will be led by Judas Priest, one of the most influential bands in metal history. With countless rock anthems and a career that has inspired generations, they crown
a line-up that can be seen and heard. Airbourne deliver their unmistakable high-energy rock, while Nestor combine nostalgic feelings and fresh songs with an anthemic 80s sound. The Gems complete the festival with powerful hard rock and a striking attitude.
With these two new additions, RADIO BOB! once again shows how diverse and lively the rock and metal world is. The BOBfest on 25.07.2026 in SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach will be a meeting place for people who celebrate epic arrangements as much as raw guitar planks - a festival that unites the past, present and future of rock on one stage.

*ℹ️ Phil Campbell (* 07.05.1961 - † 13.03.2026): We are deeply saddened by the passing of Phil Campbell. With his unmistakable guitar sound - especially with Motörhead - he made rock history and shaped generations of fans.
We would have loved to celebrate with him and his band at BOBfest. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all his companions.
