The Pet Shop Boys are finally coming back to Germany - the most successful duo in British music history according to the Guinness Book of Records is playing two shows in Germany this summer! Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have earned the record title: since signing to Parlophone Records in 1985, all 15 of their studio albums have reached the UK Top 10 and a total of 44 singles have made it into the Top 30 - four of them at number one.

With their live shows, the Pet Shop Boys have created their own style of pop musical theater. Working with directors, designers and artists such as Derek Jarman, David Alden, David Fielding, Zaha Hadid, Sam Taylor-Wood, Es Devlin and Tom Scutt, they have created their own special brand of pop musical theater to critical acclaim.

Their first ever greatest hits tour "DREAMWORLD The Greatest Hits Live" is now in its fifth year after a celebrated launch in Milan (May 2022) and has filled arenas across Europe. Fans and critics are equally enthusiastic, with the London Evening Standard even describing the show as an "ecstatic presentation of 40 years of brilliance".

In total, the Pet Shop Boys have played to millions in 63 countries in over 40 years of band history and have headlined iconic festivals and the world's most important stages such as Roskilde, Glastonbury, various editions of Primavera Sound,

New York's Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl and London's Hyde Park, to name but a few.

In addition to their own music, Tennant and Lowe have collaborated with many artists and greats such as Lady Gaga, Madonna, Blur, David Bowie, Yoko Ono, The Killers and Noel Gallagher and have written for the West End musical "Closer to Heaven", a ballet and various films. They also performed at the London Olympics (2012) and were recognized in the 2000s for their outstanding contribution to the British music scene (Ivor Novello Award and BRIT Award).
