Adieu Tristesse - Bonjour Tristesse: Frühlingskonzert mit dem Vokalensemble Cantaves

Secular vocal music by Poulenc, Brahms, Monteverdi and others.

When winter gives way and life reawakens, there is a special magic in the air: lightness, hope and new beginnings - but also quiet melancholy and echoes of experienced darkness.

The concert "Adieu Tristesse - Bonjour Tristesse" moves between these poles and allows spring and longing, light and shadow to meet in a variety of timbres. The focus is on selected movements from Francis Poulenc's Sept Chansons - sonic miniatures between playfulness, subtle melancholy and surprising twists and turns.

The vocal ensemble Cantaves, consisting of seven young singers, will perform a varied program with vocal music by Claudio Monteverdi, Johannes Brahms, Hubert Parry, Felix Mendelssohn and others.
