The next edition of Boom Your Brains at Ansgar's: After "Twistomat" now comes "Synaptor"! New mix of questions and new challenges with picture/text/sound - same fun! For repeat offenders: Please check the volume!

Boom Your Brains is the quiz event from the Funfusion collective from Cologne - known for the innovative pocket quizzes"BOOM YOUR BRAINS". And now it's finally available in an event format! Same "around the corner" approach, no multiple choice, no ticking off: But quizzes with a twist! With brand new categories, but also with best-of quiz formats familiar from Boom Your Brains - with completely new questions, of course!

Everyone knows day-drinking - we give you day-quizzing! So get off the couch on Sunday and get ready for brain aerobics in daylight: quiz, laugh, toast, snack - and afterwards there's still plenty of day left.

The motto here is: Brains come together. Your knowledge is put through our twist generator - and suddenly "I know" becomes real mental acrobatics. Combining, twisting, decoding, thinking outside the box ... and lots of laughter. Finally a quiz with AHA! and HAHA!

▪️Du coming alone (or without a quiz crew)? Then grab a seat at the Community Table: this is a mixed table for up to 5 people. It's perfect if you're new in town, no one is available spontaneously or you just fancy meeting new people.

For daytime quizzing, we have a small, fine selection from the regular menu for you:
▪️Warm & hearty: beef goulash or lentil stew (vegan).
▪️Snack Mode: the famous Ansgar's fries, meatballs, nuts and olives.
▪️Zum The first shot from Ansgar's: a homemade espresso martini shot - the Sunday coffee with a little brain turbo, so to speak
▪️Zum There's something for everyone: Kölsch and Budweiser Budvar on tap, bottled beer and wine - plus long drinks such as Aperol Spritz, Lillet Berry and gin and tonic. There's plenty of alcohol-free options too, of course: non-alcoholic beer (e.g. Jever Fun), Ansgar's lemonade (e.g. elderberry-mint) or Fassbrause. And if you prefer coffee to a hangover: Coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato & espresso are also on the menu.
