In 2026, one of Cologne's most famous bands celebrates its birthday:

35 years of BRINGS! Almost everyone in the Rhineland knows their hits such as "Superjeile Zick", "Kölsche Jung" and "Polka, Polka, Polka". But very few people know how the band started out. The band has gone through many musical developments, but it was the carnival that brought them great success.

They really took off in 2001 with "Superjeile Zick" and went on to thoroughly shake up the traditional carnival in Cologne. They opened the door to a completely new and more modern style of carnival music. To this day, BRINGS are pioneers and role models for many young musicians who want to establish themselves in the Rhenish session - with Cologne lyrics that are about more than "Hätz", "Dom", "Rhing" and "Sunnesching".

BRINGS have been playing at the open-air weekends at the Eltzhof for years. The courtyard of the old estate is always a fascinating backdrop and makes the BRINGS concerts an absolute experience!

How to get there:

S-Bahn: Lines S12/ S19 to the Porz-Wahn stop. From there it is about a five-minute walk to the Eltzhof.

Bus: KVB lines 160, 162, 163, 164 stops Wahn-Kirche or Wahn S-Bahnhof.

By car: Take the A59 (airport highway) to the "Wahn" exit, turn right and follow the main road (Heidestraße) in the direction of Wahn S-Bahnhof until you enter Wahn, cross the intersection and turn into Sankt-Sebastianus-Straße. Parking is available both directly at the Eltzhof and in the adjacent EDEKA parking lot, where the Eltzhof parking spaces are marked.
