Anika Landsteiner, born in 1987, works as an author and journalist. In her texts, she deals with social injustices, taboo topics, feminism and pop culture. Her novels So wie du mich kennst and Nachts erzähle ich dir alles are sensitively dedicated to coping with grief and female self-determination. In 2025, she was shortlisted for the Romanfabrik Writers' Prize. Anika Landsteiner lives in Munich.

Caroline Schmitt will host the evening. The journalist and author, born in 1992, works for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Deutsche Welle, among others. Her literary debut "Liebewesen" was published in 2023, followed by "Monstergott" in 2025. With her keen sense of language, spaces and emotions, she will moderate the discussion about Dreams of Salt - and open up the space for an intensive literary exchange.

The book premiere of Dreams of Salt is an invitation to an evening full of literature, atmosphere and conversation - about secrets for which there are no words and about trusting one's own inner voice.
