Inspired by myths, shamans and the female figures in the exhibition ICH SEHE WAS, WAS DU NICHT SIEHST! Ulli Lust, we explore how heroines are told in the past and today. In her book "Die Frau als Mensch 2. Schamaninnen", Ulli Lust shows that the Ice Age female figurines may have been used by proto-shamanesses to go on spirit journeys. The figures were quasi "powersuits" for their tasks.
In the workshop with art educator Anna Göppelhuber, you will create your own heroines from recycled materials, dolls and toys. This is how we combine creativity, myth and feminism!
