Call It Off

An evening full of rousing guitars, energetic drums and... Taylor Swift. That's right - Taylor Swift, but as you've never heard her before. From "Enchanted" to "Fate of Ophelia", energy, emotion and nostalgia merge into an explosive live show when none other than Dutch pop-punk band CALL IT OFF continue their successful "Eras Goes Poppunk" tour this September.

CALL IT OFF is an absolute blast! Since their formation in 2013, the band has shaken up pretty much every hall and festival with their infectious pop-punk sound. And there was this woman staring at the guys from the head of the bass drum all evening. That was Taylor Swift! Drummer Sergei has a very special connection to the American megastar: "When I heard Taylor for the first time in 2008, it felt like I was listening to my own songs. The structure of the songs, the harmonies, the drum breaks - everything sounded so familiar and logical to me, but on a completely different level".
As it turned out, Sergei wasn't the only one with a soft spot for Taylor. Her music often plays on the band bus or in the relaxation phases before gigs. It was during one of these moments that the idea was born: "Taylor's songs are just so well done. We all wanted to record a short cover just for fun. We liked it so much that we shared it on social media." The band is completely overwhelmed by the incredible response: a flood of likes, hearts and requests for more covers! Taylor is the absolute star this year!

Back in March, CALL IT OFF performed brilliantly at their German dates in sold-out clubs, so it quickly became clear that it had to go on. In September the time has come: new dates and evenings full of Taylor songs in typical CALL IT OFF style and one or two new covers in their luggage.
