Care-Arbeit gerecht gestalten: SoVD-Frauen vernetzen sich

In the organizer's words:

Care work holds our society together. Whether childcare, caring for relatives or organizing everyday family life - care work is predominantly performed by women. It is indispensable, but often invisible, unpaid or poorly protected. The consequences can be seen in interrupted employment histories, lower incomes and an increased risk of poverty in old age.

Together, we want to shed light on the structural inequalities that exist, which social policy reforms are necessary and how we as an association can initiate concrete improvements. At the event, we will also provide information on current developments in gender equality and social policy and discuss possible solutions for a fairer distribution of care work.
