Sun-drenched escapism in November: acclaimed indie tropical pop trio from Manchester back with a new sound Five German shows in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich

2026 already promises to be another turbulent year for the Manchester trio, but this time with a new sound and deeper self-reflection. After their first worldwide tour, the band returned to the studio - a place where they could shift down a gear after the hustle and bustle of touring, refocus and rediscover the joy of making music. The result is a noticeable rhythmic shift: "We're pretty obsessed with drums and the feeling they convey, and with building melodies around grooves that feel fresh to us." The first herald of the new album is the current single "lovedrunk.", which shows that Cassia have retained the sun-drenched escapism with which they have gained a worldwide fan base, but have expanded their sound cosmos by at least one dimension with globally influenced rhythms and percussion as well as deeper lyrics. Cassia will be in Germany for five dates in November 2026.

From now on, the expansion of their creative universe will also include the visual realization of their music and more control over their creative process. It is important to Cassia to realize her vision as clearly as possible. This new self-confidence is also reflected in her live shows, as confirmed by appearances at Sziget and The Neighbourhood Weekender.

After their breakthrough phase in 2025 with the release of their debut album "everyone, outside", their first world tour and sold-out headlining shows, Cassia earned their reputation as one of the UK's most exciting live bands. The success story has been supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio X and stations throughout Europe and Mexico as well as renowned international music media such as Rolling Stone US, The Independent, CLASH, Wonderland, Notion, Earmilk and in this country with an appearance on ZDF MOMA.
