Çay - Eine Heimatgeschichte

A piece developed by c.t.201

Between steaming semavers, rickety chairs and faded memories, Can prepares the Çay as he does every day.

He tries to hold on to what once was: his father's heritage, the smell of belonging, an idea of home. But today there is something in the air. The past does not remain still. The present is asking questions. And the future is knocking - louder than Can would like.

"Çay - A Homeland Story" tells of origins, responsibility and the search for identity - between the desire to belong and the courage to face oneself.

A powerful narrative, captured in the scents of a Turkish tea room in Cologne.
