Ceren Oran & Moving Borders: SCHÖN ANDERS - Ein Tanzstück über die Suche nach Identität und Zugehörigkeit

In the organizer's words:

Group behavior shapes us. Humans are herd animals, they protect and organize themselves in class groups, leisure clubs, communities of states and unions. But what happens when the individual leaves the group? Or in other words: what if the individual recognizes himself and wants to live that way? Is it exposed to the rest of the group without protection if it leaves the group - even if it is quite different?

Choreographer Ceren Oran explores these questions through dance and music together with a multicultural team. Five performers and a musician bring their own experiences of otherness and belonging to the production process. They embark on a playful, humorous and touching journey of exploration into different emotional worlds. The play is aimed at families with children aged 6 and over.
