In the near future, Paris is divided into three zones that clearly separate the social classes. Alma, an artificial intelligence that controls the police system and allows no way out, watches over everything. When the creator of this technology is murdered, two investigators must work together: Salia, an elite agent from Zone 2, and Zem, a disillusioned police officer from Zone 3. Together they try to get to the bottom of the crime.
The dystopian police thriller is based on the futuristic crime novel Chien 51 by Laurent Gaudé, published in a German translation by Christian Kolb under the title Hund 51. With Zone 3, director Cédric Jimenez delivers a third film on the subject of law enforcement - after Bac Nord and November, in which Adèle Exarchopoulos and Gilles Lellouche were already seen.

In 2045, Paris is divided into three zones, corresponding to the social classes and policed by an IA named Alma. When Alma's inventor is assassinated, Salia, an elite investigator from Zone 2, and Zem, a policeman from Zone 3, work together to find the culprit. Après Bac Nord et Novembre, Cédric Jimenez offers us a thriller dystopique porté une fois de plus par un casting fort, avec Gilles Lellouche, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Louis Garrel, Romain Duris et Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.
