Chivas2GO beim "KLANGRAUM Festival"

Just the right place for summer sounds: Chivas2GO is bringing pop, Latin and funk to Mülheim for the first time this year for the popular "KLANGRAUM Festival" - and it's free.

The festival is the music program of "Et Kapellche e. V.". The association came together in 2015 to transform a former monastery chapel into a new meeting and cultural center. Today it has more than 200 members. "KLANGRAUM" is taking place for the 5th time this year.

Chivas2GO will be performing jazzy salsa pieces, danceable pop numbers and soulful ballads in the sunny courtyard . Free admission. The address: Holsteinstrasse 1, 51065 Cologne.

Chivas2GO mix pop, Latin and funk into a sophisticated musical cocktail: fresh, cheeky, lively. In addition to sophisticated vocals, salsa piano, rock guitar, saxophone and funky bass, the main ingredients are a vibraphone (!) and lots of percussion. Driving rhythms are guaranteed.

The original compositions by the eight musicians tell little stories of sleepless nights, emotional reunions or exciting journeys. They were inspired by artists such as "Incognito", "Matt Bianco" and "Sade".

Every Chivas2GO concert is a tour through space and time. The band members already shook up the music scene in the Cologne area four decades ago with the two groups Chivas Breitband and GO. Now they present themselves together in a new formation: more surprising, more playful and more rousing than ever before.
