CINELATINO is the largest film festival for Spanish and Latin American cinema in Germany and takes place from April 22nd to April 29th in Tübingen.
Every year we focus on a specific country and a specific theme:
In 2026, we are focusing on human rights in Latin America. The films we show deal with aspects such as the violation of a country's sovereignty, the Cuban diaspora in Spain and the disappearance of Salvadoran children.
The country focus this year is on Uruguay. Cinematic voices from Uruguay convince with subtle humor and also deal with socially critical topics.
In addition to these focal points, we will of course also be showing numerous other Latin American and Spanish films.
