CNGRTS (/kənˈɡræts/)
The four-piece shoegaze band from Munich combines influences from 80s post-punk and modern dreampop to create a dense, atmospheric sound. Floating guitar pads, driving rhythms and multi-layered vocals merge into an energetic cosmos of sound that is both hypnotic and intense.
The music of CNGRTS moves between melancholy and a spirit of optimism: catchy indie melodies meet raw, powerful guitars and create a dynamic balance of lightness and darkness.
International blogs place the sound of the Munich underground band somewhere between Joy Division and modern dreampop/shoegaze in the style of DIIV or bdrmm.
