Comic Salon mit Max Baitinger

Dietrich, known as Dietz, is 48, married, has two daughters and works as an engineer in Düsseldorf. Together with Volker, a musician and notorious thief, he travels to Leipzig for the weekend to visit their school friend Acki. Volker is ailing, his mood is correspondingly bad, and Dietz tries to be in a good mood. When they arrive in Leipzig, however, they are still missing one important piece of information: Acki's new address. While they wait for news from Acki, they kill time by visiting pubs and museums, and Volker can't resist stealing an antique sword from the exhibition...

With "Hallimasch", Max Baitinger once again demonstrates his keen sense for the absurdities of everyday life. In his latest work, the great stylist and master of nuances explores the expectations of friendship and the question of how much a friendship can withstand - as always with laconic wit and visual ambiguity.
