On November 8, 2025, Cologne will once again become the colorful center of comic and manga culture! The Comic and Manga Fair Cologne opens its doors between 10:00 and 16:00 and invites all fans, collectors, artistsand the curious to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of drawn stories.

But this event is much more than just a trade fair - it is a celebration of creativity, fantasy and cultural diversity!

Experience the stars of the international comic scene up close
One of the highlights of this year's program are the numerous guests, some of them international, who will present their latest works and provide exciting insights into their work. This time:

• Randy Valiente (Philippines) - known for his work for major US publishers and who recently represented his country at the Frankfurt Book Fair. He will be presenting his work "No Man Manila", which has now also been published in German.
• Marc Bourgne (France) - celebrated illustrator and lyricist of "The Red Corsair" and "Michel Vaillant", among others, has been shaping the European comics scene for decades.
• Kim Schmidt - illustrator of the popular series "Die drei ??? Kids", co-founder of Flying KiWi Verlag and known from publications with Tokyopop and Carlsen.
• Ulf K. - internationally published comic artist with an unmistakable style whose work appears in magazines worldwide.
• Jörg Hartmann - illustrator of the graphic novel "Liberty" and comics such as "Wilsberg".
• Jens Natter - author/drawer of the graphic novel about the Hanseatic League and quick-draw artist.

In addition, around 40 artists will be showing their works in the large manga area (in cooperation with BD Events) - from up-and-coming talents to established greats. Numerous publishers such as Salleck Publications, Edition 52, Kult Comics, All-Verlag and SR Verlag will be presenting new releases, collector's items and exclusive editions.

Program highlights & live experiences
The varied supporting program will be moderated by the renowned comics journalists Tillmann Courth and Dirk Nett - informative, charming and with plenty of specialist knowledge.
11:00 a.m.: AURORA AND THE ORK - lecture by the CölnComicHaus reading group (for young and old adventurers)
12:00: Randy Valiente on the comic scene in the Philippines & his work NO MAN MANILA
13:00: Jörg Hartmann presents his graphic novel LIBERTY - reading & discussion
14:00: World of comics - picture chat with Dirk & Tillmann, this time with a focus on "Hergé"

Drawing & cosplay: Participation expressly encouraged!
From 13:00, artist Maya Wendler invites you to a free drawing workshop .
The material will be provided - just come along, take a seat and start drawing!
Cosplayers are welcome to bring their favorite characters to life and transform the event into a colorful spectacle.
From 14:00: Time for the BigPicture! Grab your pose and be part of the mega group photo!

Conclusion: This is where fans and artists meet at eye level - during talks, autograph sessions and spontaneous encounters.Comic- und Manga Messe Köln 2025 is the must-visit event for everyone who loves comics, manga and drawn stories - a day full of art, creativity and community.
