Crypta is a world-renowned Brazilian death metal band made up entirely of women. It was founded in 2019 by Fernanda Lira (bass and vocals) and Luana Dametto (drums). Crypta currently consists of a trio that is supported on tour by guest guitarists (second guitar).
Together with guitarist Tainá Bergamaschi, who joined the band in 2020, Crypta consolidated its line-up and released the highly acclaimed debut album "Echoes of the Abyss" in 2021.
