Open curling is perfect for beginners - no previous experience is necessary. Wheelchair users are also very welcome.

What you can expect in the approx. 2 hours of open curling

  • a theoretical introduction to the sport of curling and a safety briefing
  • first steps on the smooth curling ice and first sliding exercises
  • Stone delivery, wiping and length play
  • possibly a small competition at the end
  • We provide all the necessary curling materials (brooms, sliders) on site.
  • Trainers from the Kölner Eis-Klub, maximum 6 people per rink and trainer

What you need

  • comfortable pants that allow you to bend your knees
  • clean indoor sneakers with rubber soles (no leather soles, no heels). Unfortunately, you are not allowed on the ice in street shoes!
