GLUE is the best expression yet of the deep friendships from which Daily Thompson emerged. Singer and guitarist Danny Zaremba, bassist Mercedes Lalakakis-Bee and drummer Thorsten "Babblz" Stratmann have finally found their place in grunge, alternative and indie rock. It seems as if the band has found the sound they always wanted. Inspired by bands such as Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Alice In Chains and The Smashing Pumpkins, they have created their own vision of the Seattle sound of the 90s. Heavily influenced by the grunge scene, the songs on GLUE are characterized by massive, distorted guitars, melodic hooks and the characteristic vocals of both voices.

It is the first time that Mercedes has dedicated the lead vocals to an entire song. But GLUE also contains songs like "Chains", "SIAM" or "Here I Stand", which are dedicated to the original grunge sound, the album creates a strong sonic connection through the common loud, powerful indie/alternative rock DNA. Much like the American alternative rock scene that shaped Seattle and brought noisy, feedback-rich guitars back to indie rock long before grunge made its breakthrough. The band recorded the album in January 2026 in Seattle/Port Orchard USA, at APL Recordings again with Tony Reed. Their last album "Chuparosa" was critically acclaimed, which is why the band recorded GLUE for the first time with Reed as producer and guest musician. The band's seventh studio album shows Daily Thompson at the peak of their powers - grungy, energetic, confident and more emotional than ever before.
