The concert series Soup & Music (Vol.3) at Besser Leben Leipzig (Holbeinstr. 2) takes place every second Sunday in the winter months. It offers a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace, warm soup and a concert on a donation basis.

Damian Dalla Torre is a Leipzig-based multi-instrumentalist and composer who has developed his own sound language between avant-pop, ambient and jazz with his releases in recent years. Following his debut Happy Floating (2022), he released I Can Feel My Dreams in 2024, a finely balanced, introspective work created during a stay in Santiago de Chile. In I Can Feel My Dreams, Dalla Torre interweaves acoustic instrumentation - including clarinet, tenor saxophone and flute - with expansive, warmly pulsating electronic soundscapes. Supported by musicians such as Ruth Goller, Markus Rom and Miriam Adefris, this release is considered one of the outstanding ambient albums of recent years.
