Daniel Gerlach, "one of Germany's leading Middle East experts" (ZDF, heute journal), is going on a reading tour of five German cities with his book "The Art of Peace".
Entitled "The Struggle for Peace in the Middle East", the program combines readings, a history show and a discussion format. The tour spans around 3,000 years of the history of war, peace and secret diplomacy - from ancient times to current developments such as the fall of the Assad regime in Syria and the negotiations over Gaza. Together with changing discussion partners and the audience, Daniel Gerlach talks about conflicts, diplomacy and historical turning points in the region.
