Danko Jones on tour in Germany again in fall 2026

Danko Jones, the Canadian power trio, has been a beacon of pure, unadulterated rock'n'roll for over 25 years, building a worldwide fanbase through acclaimed live shows.

In 1996, Danko Jones (vocals), John Calabrese (bass) and Michael Caricari (drums) came together in Toronto to keep rock alive. Since then, they have been unstoppable: after finding their first fans through countless concerts, they released their debut album "Born a Lion" in 2002, which shaped their energetic style between hard rock and punk.

In 20 years, Danko Jones have played their way into the hearts of their fans and into the Olympus of rock'n'roll across 10 albums - including several gold and platinum awards, over 100 million streams and 6 nominations at the Juno Awards.

While there have been various changes on the drums, Danko Jones and John Calabrese have remained the two constant members - since 2013 they have found their new drummer in Rich Knox, who fits perfectly into the dynamic. They also proved this with their twelfth studio album "Leo Rising", released in 2025 - their most thrilling work to date, filled with hard-hitting action rock!

The concerts in particular shaped their reputation from the very beginning: The electrifying chemistry between the three band members, hard guitar riffs and an energetic audience make Danko Jones one of the best live bands of their generation. They have already proven this on tour with legends such as Guns N' Roses, The Rolling Stones and Volbeat and on major international festival stages at Hurricane and Southside, Wacken or Reading and Leeds.

The last tour, including additional shows, was completely sold out. Danko Jones are now following up and are coming back to Germany for a handful of concerts in fall 2026. The Canadians will be accompanied by the Split Dogs, an equally energetic band from Bristol. Since their formation six years ago, the Split Dogs have stood for strict punk rock, which they occasionally spice up with a pinch of heavy metal and glam rock. Their latest album "Here To Destroy" is a wonderful appetizer for hungry Danko Jones fans.
