Where the fire department was based for 99 years is now the COMEDIA Theater. The listed old building of Fire Station No. 4 from 1904 was opened as the COMEDIA Theater in 2009, extended by a new building with two theaters. The industrial building in Art Nouveau style can be seen in the catering area, the COMEDIA Wagenhalle, with original wall coverings, doors and slide bars. The old roof construction has also been preserved. Today, the COMEDIA is the center of culture for young audiences in Cologne and NRW.

During the guided tour with fire department and theater staff, you will learn a lot about the old and new use of the premises.

We offer the following dates:

Saturday, September 13 at 12 noon
Sunday, September 14 at 12 noon
Sunday, September 14 at 2 p.m.

The guided tours are free of charge and suitable for children aged 6 and over. The meeting point is the COMEDIA foyer.
