Das Geheimnis der Weihnachtswichtel

In the organizer's words:

A story by Sven Nordqvist, set by Tristan Berger

Up in the hayloft of an old farmhouse live very special little helpers: a family of gnomes. There is the 427-year-old grandfather with his long white beard, the gnome parents and their three curious children Pulka, Polka and Pilka.

It has snowed outside and dusk is slowly falling. It's warm and cozy in the house. The smell of Christmas is everywhere. People are looking forward to the presents and the delicious festive food - and the elves can hardly wait either. According to old tradition, they receive a large bowl of rice porridge on their doorstep to thank them for their good deeds over the past year. But the mother elf is very worried: with all the hype about Santa Claus and presents, people might forget to thank the elves this year. And if Father Secret Santa doesn't get his long-awaited rice porridge, he could become very angry and unpleasant. To prevent this, the mother gnome hatches a secret plan with the older gnome children.

Just as the elves do good things in secret, we also want to help. Together with our young visitors and in cooperation with Tafel e. V., we support people who don't have it so easy. This makes our concert not only a musical experience, but also a sign of compassion and solidarity.

A concert for families with children from the age of 5 with music by Peter I. Tchaikovsky, Nikolaj Rimskij-Korsakov, Edvard Grieg, Camille Saint-Saëns and Armas Järnefelt.
