Once a month at Shades in Dortmund, you can quiz, guess and laugh. The game is played in teams of two players using the Swiss system - each team plays 7 quiz duels.

A quiz duel consists of 15 questions from 5 freely selectable categories. You can choose from over 100 subject areas - from classics such as technology, sport or history to niche categories such as Harry Potter, memes or other surprises. The winner is the team that has answered more questions correctly.

In contrast to classic pub quizzes, you don't have a fixed seat - you change tables after each duel. This means you automatically get into conversation with other quiz fans and easily meet new people. After all, the big quiz duel is not just about winning, but above all about fun, games and good humor.

The three teams that have won the most quiz duels at the end of the evening can not only look forward to fame and honor, but also take home a very special quiz trophy.
